I recorded most of the music over the course of two nights. I spent a number of weekends after that editing and meditating on what a 40+ hour work week does to you. Think of the music in this batch as some kind of reflection of that. Think about how much time you've put into work, and think about how much more you'll put in. Think about how your day is broken down between 'you' time and 'them' time.

I urge you to listen to this if not on a decent set of speakers, then on headphones. While sometimes very amateur (because I am an amateur), I do think that hearing everything here is key to 'getting' it. If I can have about an hour of your time, I would like to try to take you somewhere that you haven't been yet.

That said, I'll still attempt at staying out of your way. My primary aim here is to be the background from which something valuable springs. I don't need your attention, but I hope that you'll take this time to reflect on how things are going.

Can you breathe? Do you feel good when you come home at the end of the day? Is being able to make rent worth it? What has value to you, and what has been given up to get there?There are only so many minutes in a day, and regardless of what you're doing, they aren't coming back.
